The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, allowing me to feel right at home. I was impressed by the thoughtful touch of towel swans waiting on the bed. The breakfast spread was delightful, especially the pancake maker that added a fun touch to my morning routine.

Clean and comfortable beds

The stay was enjoyable as we were visiting the nearby Antigonish Heritage Museum and appreciated returning to a clean, spacious room after our outings. The breakfast was fantastic, with a delicious variety that included bacon, eggs, pancakes, and more to kickstart our mornings. I especially loved the comfy bed, which made for a restful night after exploring local attractions like the Saint Ninian Cathedral and the Lyghtesome Gallery.

Poor sound insulation made it feel like there was a herd of elephants above me!!! Check-in was agonizingly slow, taking way too long for no apparent reason. The lack of adequate seating in the room was frustrating!!!

Family friendly place for a stay

The staff were genuinely nice and helped us right away when we needed some extra towels. The breakfast was pretty solid with bacon, eggs, and pancakes that made the morning brighter.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still in the acceptable range.

During my recent stay at Microtel, I found the location to be ideal, situated right off the highway with several restaurants nearby. The room was immaculate with thoughtful features, including ample storage and a distinctive black makeup face cloth.

There were a few minor signs of wear in the facility.

I stayed for 1 night in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Non-Smoking, and it was pretty decent. The beds were super clean and comfy, which is always a plus. The room felt fresh since the hotel is only a few years old, and I appreciated the quietness—perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was solid too, especially the bacon and sausages!

the breakfast could've had more variety, but the staff were all friendly and the hotel had a lovely lounge with local brews. Also, the pool area looked nice despite not being open yet.
